Final!  As if anyone cares, today is (was depending on when you read
this) my birthday.  After getting back from school, I found a very
large package waiting for me with the word "Intel" on it in the same
style lettering I remember seeing on the box of the pre-release.  So, I
open it up and...(can you guess the end of this?)

    Anyways, I didn't just write to gloat (my sincerest regrets to
those who haven't recieved their copy yet), I actually am writing for a
purpose here.  That being that, for some reason, my HIIP AVI savers
aren't working.  Now, I know that there was a thread on this a while
ago, but I can't get back that far with my newsreader.  So, I'd
appreciate it if anyone would e-mail me with a solution (or post it,
either way...).  I know it might be helpful to know something about my
system, so here goes.  I'm running Windows 95 final (shudder) and I DO
have AVI drivers (I know this because I can play the files on the disc)
so I really don't know why it's not working.  Also of interest is a
file called erlog.txt (obviously an error logging file), that says
something like:

fffe51e9:AVIS: SaveGetPref
fffe51e9:NO PREF STRING

..it has an entry like this for every frame, then at the bottom it
says "AVI saver exit".  I assume this is a HIIP generated file, am I
correct?  One last thing: I'm using the 16 bit saver because the 32 bit
gives me an error message each time the program finishes a frame
(probably because I'm not using NT!!!).  Anyhow, could someone please
tell me how to solve this?  Thanks a lot in advance!
